St Bernadette Relic Pilgrimage Ireland 2024
We are delighted to announce that the relics of St Bernadette will visit the Diocese of Galway, Kilmacduagh and Kilfenora, and the Diocese of Clonfert, from 5th to 8th September 2024. This very special once in a lifetime event will provide an opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to experience the special gifts and charisms of Lourdes, in a church or cathedral near them.

Thursday 5th September: Galway Cathedral
2.00pm — Welcoming the Relics
3.00pm, 4.00pm, 5.00pm — Guided Prayer on the hour
3.00pm to 5.00pm — Confessions
7.00pm — Mass for Healing (with Water Gesture)
9.00pm to 10.00pm — Holy Hour led by young people of the Diocese

Friday 6th September: Galway Cathedral
10.00am — Rosary
11.00am — Mass
2.00pm, 3.00pm, 4.00pm — Guided Prayer on the hour
12.00 noon to 3.00pm — Confessions
6.00pm — Mass (with anointing of the sick)
8.00pm — Candlelight procession
Saturday 7th September: Loughrea Cathedral
2.00pm — Welcoming the Relics
3.00pm, 4.00pm, 5.00pm — Guided Prayer on the hour
2.00pm to 5.00pm — Confessions
8.00pm — Vigil Mass for Healing (with Water Gesture) followed by procession
9.30pm to 10.30pm — Holy Hour led by young people of the Diocese
